El Five Serves Up Tasty Tapas
A spread of tasty tapas will satisfy almost any craving. Throw in awe-inspiring views and Mediterranean-inspired craft cocktails and you have a perfect dining experience courtesy of El Five.
It was recently ranked #3 on Eater Denver’s hottest restaurants of the moment list, and for good reason…
The new culinary stunner from Chef Justin Cucci features Turkish cinema posters, geometric mirrors, and an open show kitchen so guests can see where the magic happens. Swanky black booths outline the interior while two stunning patios offer views of the downtown skyline as well as the Mile High City’s gorgeous mountains.
Though the ambiance is quite amazing, it comes second to the menu. While tapas are typically Spanish, El Five drew inspiration from all the flavors of the Mediterranean. Jamón, patatas bravas, and goat cheese croquettes will satisfy any tapas enthusiast while small offerings like tabbouleh lettuce wraps and charred baba ghanoush will introduce the flavors of the Middle East. Guests can order personal or shareable portions of paella. The menu offers seafood, sausage, and vegetarians bowls and even a fruit and cheese paella with mascarpone, aged manchego, mint, mulberries, pistachio, and brandy.
Of course, the tapas experience requires wine and El Five delivers with well-curated Spanish glasses. Creative cocktails also compliment the food with fresh herbs and fruits.
El Five sits at 2930 Umatilla Street and is open 5pm-10:30pm every day.
