3 Spooktacular Events in Denver
If Halloween is your favorite time of year, you’re in luck. Denver is brimming with spooktacular events for kids, thrill-seeking adults, and anyone looking to simply embrace the spooky season. Here are a few upcoming Halloween happenings you don’t want to miss.
Denver Botanic Gardens Corn Maze
The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield’s corn maze is one of the most attended mazes in the country and features seven acres of corn as well as two 15-foot tall bridges that overlook it all. Visitors can attempt to make their way through the winding paths, embark on a hayride, and even enjoy a pony ride. All your favorite fall food will be there as well including funnel cakes, hot dogs, and kettle corn. Also, their signature Pumpkin Festival is taking place this weekend where guests can pick the perfect pumpkin from their 10-acre patch.
Broadway Halloween Parade
Hosted by the Broadway Merchants Association and City Council Lucky District 7, this family-friendly display features freaky floats, live music, and friendly spooktacular creatures. The parade stretches from 3rd to Alameda and into the eclectic heart of Broadway. Be sure to wear your best costume as attendees are asked to join in at the end to cap off the night.
13th Floor Haunted House
Described as, “the #1 scariest haunted attraction in the U.S.,” the 13th Floor Haunted House leads visitors through a horrifically entertaining tour of the forgotten floor in a haunted building. It features intricate sets, terrifying creatures, and out-of-this-world special effects. (We recommend leaving the little ones at home for this one.)
